Dr JV Srinivas and Team performed the First Reverse Shoulder Replacement using ‘’DePuy Synthes’ on an elderly patient with rotator cuff arthropathy. This is a rare procedure where in the position of the ball and socket are interchanged and mobility is achieved by using the power of the other muscles around the shoulder joint, mainly the deltoid.

Post-operatively, the patient had pain relief and a mobile stable shoulder joint.
