Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) through Novel Route – Carotid Artery- the first of it’s kind in Andhra Pradesh was done in a 70 year old woman who had high risk for conventional surgery.

As the traditional method of valve implantation through femoral route could not be done due to narrowed and calcified blood vessels, this alternate route was considered.
